The updating frequency of account transactions depends on the period you chose in your bank connection authorization agreement.
The updating schedule depends on your bank and accounting office. Banks usually offer daily, weekly or monthly updating. We recommend updating the transactions weekly. The updating does not take place on a specific day of the week, but the bank promises to update the account transactions four times a month.
Not all banks offer weekly updating, and your accounting office may also prefer a different procedure, such as daily updates. The update period is selected when making the bank connection authorization. You should agree on the period with your accounting office in order to complete the form correctly. If you want to change the updating schedule, we recommend contacting your accounting office. Changes to the update period are made with the bank, but it is a good idea to discuss the changes first with your accounting office so that they know to expect them, as changing the frequency will also affect the accounting office.
If you choose daily updates, you get the most up-do-date data to the software, but you have to pay for each bank statement according to the bank's price list. Please discuss the pricing with your bank to avoid unpleasant surprises.
Monthly updates make the work of your accountant slightly more difficult, which is why we do not recommend them.
