When you start having more sales invoices, finding a specific invoice might become difficult. These tips make finding the right invoice easier.
As you use the program, your invoice archive will grow larger and larger. This is a good thing. After all, it is a sign that your business is thriving. However, as the number of invoices increases, finding a specific invoice might become difficult. If this happens, our invoice search and filtering features come to your aid.
You can search for the invoice recipient in the search field. The search function is handy in cases where you do not remember the full name of the recipient, but you remember a part of it. Enter the part you remember in the search field to see the invoice recipients that meet the search criterion.
You can choose to only display invoices of a specific type. For example, overdue invoices or overdue invoices without a payment reminder. Select the type of the invoice on the right side of the search field.
Searching by date is convenient when you want to see, for example, all the invoices you sent in September last year, all the invoices you created this week or a list of all the invoices sent last year.
The date field is in the upper right corner above the invoice list. Click the search field to expand it. You can select the start and end date for the search in the calendar view.
Please note that the search criterion can be either the invoice date, the due date or the payment date.
There are shortcuts for the current month, week and day on the left-hand side of the search field.
Sometimes, you do not need to search for the invoices, but having them in the right order is enough. This is when our efficient sorting features step in. Each column header on the invoice list is a sorting key. For example, click the "Due date" header to sort the list by due date. Click the header again to reverse the order.
The other headers work similarly.
You can also combine these criteria freely. For example, you can search for all the invoices paid by a specific company in the last month and sort them in the order you wish. We recommend testing different search and sorting criteria. Practice makes perfect.
