This article explains how you can add products to the service from a third-party system, such as Excel or another invoicing software.
You can import a product register and customer register to Solo from an external source. Instructions for importing a customer register are available here.
Importing products
To import products, open the “Products” view, select “Tools” in the upper right corner and select “Import products from a CSV file”.
Importing instructions:
- File format: CSV (comma-separated values)
- Maximum number of rows per import 2,000
- Only applicable for importing new products, not for updating existing products.
Example of a product import file:
“Product number", “Name", “Unit", “VAT %", “Price without tax"
"1","Product 1”,”pcs","24","10.0000"
"2","Product 2","h","24","20.0000"
Please note that the columns must be in this precise order and all the columns must be included in the CSV file.
A preview window will open during the importing, and we recommend checking that the product information is in order in the window.
